From life, photographs, the web, 3D scans, motion capture, digitally generated avatars...
The Portraits / components are layered, remixed and then reconstituted as digital entities - using Unity game engine platform - Potentially the Portrait is composed of multiple parallel realities rather than the singular amalgam of analogue space.
In this series the Portraits are saved in a variety of media formats from oil on canvas, game engine platforms downloads or online (eg Itchio), to digital encapsulations with giff loops, binary code streams, bluetooth file transfers....

Bodies are computer generated, existing solely in digital space, their movements, rate of replication, 'lifespan' are controlled by solely by the 'physics' settings applied to their digital environment/space
While Bodies may trigger 'real world' associations these links exist outside their terms of reference in other parallel realities. This series sets out to explore the tenacity of these associations.
